Seasoned Firewood

 

We cure our firewood for at least 12 months. This ensures that the moisture level is low, the firewood will burn without extreme popping and it will not build up as much cresol in your chimney stack. When green wood or wood with high moisture levels are burned in your home, it can be dangerous and can lead to chimney fires. It can also be very frustrating starting fires or having wood not burn at all. That is why you should get your firewood from a trusted and experienced source.

 

Wood is cut at 16 inches and split approximately the diameter of a baseball to a softball. This makes handling the wood much easier and starting fires less of a hassle.

 

Our firewood is very uniform in shape and size. Firewood is a mix of good burning hardwoods. You will never find pine or cedar in our firewood.

**** Extra charge if a wheelbarrow is needed to get to stacking area (charge will be based on distance wheeled and access to stacking area).

*Please provide the amount of wood you would like, an address, contact information, and whether wood will be "thrown off" in the driveway (cheapest delivery option) or wheeled and stacked (please provide distance to the stacking area.) Stacking area has to be accessible for our wheelbarrow.
